Connecticut College seeks applications for a part-time non-residential Research Associate on the Mellon Foundation grant-funded project A Right to Housing: Case Study Connecticut.
A Right to Housing: Case Study Connecticut aims to build a platform for public research and dialogue around housing access and security that focuses a regional lens on the national housing crisis. A collaboration between Connecticut College and The Housing Collective’s Center for Housing Opportunity Eastern Connecticut (CHEO), this three-year project is centered on the planning and presentation of a traveling exhibition, a digital publication, and curricular initiatives around community-engaged research and pedagogy.
The appointment begins June 2025 and will continue through May 2026, with a possible extension through July 2026 for additional funding. Time commitment will fluctuate with the phases of research and writing, but is not expected to exceed 16 hours/week. Residency in New London is not expected. The Research Associate will receive a total stipend of $20,000.
